By accepting an appointment with Pamper my paws dog grooming you accept the below terms and conditions. 

 

Arriving late -

If you are going to be late to your appointment please let us know ASAP. We work to a schedule throughout the day. For this reason if you are more than 15 minutes late for your appointment we may not be able to groom your dog. The above cancellation terms will apply. (If you let us know you will be late we may be able to accommodate you)

During your dogs groom -

Please ensure you are reachable by telephone and available for the duration of your dogs groom. This is to ensure that we can reach you in case of an emergency. Should you not be available please make sure you provide us with a suitable emergency contact.

Picking up your dog

We will call you with around 20 minutes notice with a time to collect your dog. Should you arrive more than 10 minutes after the time given, a day care fee will apply and will be charged at £5 per 15 mins from the time given for collection.

Deposits

All deposits are payable at the time of booking. Should less than 72 hours notice be given for cancellation/reschedule your deposit will be lost and would need to be repaid.

Cancellations/ No shows – 
*72+ hours notice for cancellation/reschedule -Deposit to be refunded or transferred to new appointment. 
*Between 72 and 24 hours notice for cancellation/reschedule -Deposit would be lost and a new deposit paid for any new appointment.
*Less than 24 hours/No show -Deposit will be lost and remainder of the appointment cost would need to be paid. A new deposit would be payable on the new appointment. 


Should you give less than 72 hours notice for cancellation/rescheduled appointments a strike will be added to your record. Should you reach 3 strikes, you will be required to pay in full at the time of booking any appointment, this replaces the deposit system. The above cancellation terms will then apply with the deposit being replaced with full payment.

Changes to booked services - 

We require a minimum of 48 hours notice of any changes to prebooked services (for example changing a full groom to just a bath and brush) should sufficient notice not be given you will be charged for the pre booked service.

Complaints - 

Should you be unhappy with the groom your dog has received please let us know within 24 hours of the initial groom. This allows us the opportunity to offer any remedial work that you feel is necessary.

Matting

Any dogs with severe matting will be clipped off short to reduce pain and discomfort. Pamper my paws will not be liable for any after-grooming effects of de-matting, clipping or brushing procedures, or problems uncovered on a badly matted or otherwise neglected coat including, but not limited to, skin redness, itchiness, or self-inflicted irritations from excessive external scratching or rubbing. Time and costs associated with de-matting are unpredictable. I agree to pay whatever fees are incurred as a result of de-matting. Whether a dog is matted is at the sole discretion of Pamper my paws.

Aggressive dogs -

If your dog has previously shown any signs of aggression towards a person or another animal you must inform us before the groom. We reserve the right to terminate any grooming if we feel your dog is too dangerous to complete the groom. The full groom price will be payable.

Fleas

An additional £15 will be payable should fleas be found on your dog during its groom. This is to cover the costs of fumigating the salon to avoid cross contamination.

Pamper my paws reserves the right to refuse to groom a pet in an unsatisfactory state, including, but not limited to, behavioral issues, fleas, ticks, other parasites or kennel cough. The fee for the booked service will be payable should this occur.
